M40 fatality – witness appeal

THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision on the M40 between junctions 6 to 7 in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday, 5/5).

police_RTC_sign (400x250)Around 5.15am, a silver Vauxhall Astra was travelling northbound along the M40 motorway when it left the carriageway on the nearside, going through a fence and hedgerow into the field behind. The driver, a 29-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or with information that may assist the investigation, should contact PC Adrian White of the Thames Valley Police Collision Investigation Unit at Aylesbury on the non-emergency number 101.
