UPDATE – 6.30 pm – Road closed because of ‘dangerous dip’

UPDATE: The road has now been re-opened.        RYCOTE Lane (A329) has had to be closed for today, following the appearance of a large, potentially dangerous dip in the road that appeared by Faroll’s yard.

An Oxfordshire County Council Highways spokesman said that they expect to be able to re-open the road later this evening. In the meantime, a short diversion to Tiddington is in place.
