Accident Victim Air-lifted to Hospital

POLICE were called to the A34 at Chilton, at 4.41pm yesterday (20/12) following a collision between a Blue Peugeot 206 and a Land Rover on the southbound carriageway.
Both carriageways were closed while the police helicopter landed on the road to take an injured woman to the JR2 hospital. She was treated for minor injuries. The southbound carriageway remained closed for several hours while emergency services worked on the scene and the wreckage was removed.
