Barley Hill On Ice
PUPILS from Barley Hill School, Thame, was skating in thin ice today – well, plastic actually.
The school’s PTA arranged for an artificial ice rink to be constructed in the school hall and 250 children were given the opportunity to don the blades provided and have a go.
The tickets went so fast, that the PTA plan to repeat the event to give those disappointed would-be Torvill and Deans, a second opportunity.
The event was organised by Caroline Jones and Dawn Illsley, and the money raised will help replenish the PTA’s coffers for future projects.
