Thame Lion Jackie rewarded

AT a Sunday lunch yesterday (Sunday, July 29) at the Peacock Hotel at Henton, near Thame, Jackie Willougby was awarded the Lion of the Year award by Thame Lions’ President, Roger Blackburn.

Roger then handed over the the presidency of the club to Ken Bennell who serves for the third time, officially taking over on July 1. Jackie is Vice President of the Thame Lions Club and will take over from Ken next July, 2015. Ken said: “Lion Jackie is one of the newer Lions and has put in a tremedous amount of work in promoting the Thame Lions Club.”
