Nothing has been lost, and the Artistic Director has been splendidly successful in maintaining the vigour, vitality and richness of the original. There is a very high standard of singing and a superlative keyboard accompaniment from the ever alert Louisa Lam. The comedy is fun throughout and there is some very realistic and convincing acting.
