Horsewoman In Fatal Road Accident Named
A woman who was killed when she was thrown from her horse near Thame on Sunday (27/08), has been named.
She has been formally identified as 33 year-old Clare Clarke, of Youens Road in Thame.
Police are appealing for information about the accident which happened at 3.50pm.
Mrs Clarke was apparently riding her horse along Haddenham Road towards Kingsey when a sewage collection lorry approached her from the opposite direction. The investigating officer, PC Graham Holt, said:”We have already spoken to a number of people who witnessed the incident but I am keen to hear from anyone else who may have seen the lorry, which was blue and yellow, or Clare on the horse before the collision so we can piece together exactly what happened.”
