Thame Man Injured In M40 Collision (Status: Press Release)
THE Police are appealing for witnesses and information after eight vehicles collided on the M40, northbound, between junction three and four last Saturday.
At 7.45pm on Saturday (22/12) eight vehicles, a silver Chevrolet Lacetti, grey Renault Clio, black Ford Galaxy, black BMW 320, black Ford Sierra, blue Honda CR-V, grey Peugeot and red Vauxhall Vectra collided.
The 43-year-old driver of the Ford Galaxy from Thame, Oxon was seriously injured and transported to Wexham Park Hospital. He is said to be in a stable condition. Two other people were transported to Wexham Park Hospital with minor injuries. Both were treated and released on the same day.
The motorway was closed at junction three for two hours to allow recovery of the vehicles.
