Town Centre – An evening full of festive fun and entertainment, before the town’s Christmas lights are switched-on at 7pm by the Mayor and the lucky winner of this year’s town trail – Runaway Reindeer!
Entertainment from nine local performance groups, over 30 food & gift stalls, children’s entertainment, Rapunzel and Tinkerbell, Reindeer, Santa’s Grotto, a lantern parade featuring beautiful willow lanterns made by Thame’s primary schools, a human-sized Snow Globe, competitions, carol singing led by Thame Choral Society and more!
Town centre road closure (High Street, Cornmarket and Buttermarket) will be in force from midday until 10pm tomorrow (30 November). Access will be permitted for residents and businesses with off-street parking. The High Street car park will be closed from 11am. The 280 will continue to serve stops on the Wenman Road loop, but will by-pass the Town Hall and Co-Op bus stops.
