Objects thrown at car windows in Wheatley
THE Police locally are increasing patrols following a recent spate of criminal damage in Wheatley, where objects have been thrown at car windows.
During the week from 21 November to 29 November, there have been several incidents of criminal damage where objects have been thrown at car windows.
PC Paul Gregory said: “We have had incidents in Farm Close Lane, Beech Road and Farm Close Road, during the week November 21, to November 29, which have all happened when it is dark.
“I would like to reassure residents that we will not tolerate this type of behaviour and are doing all that we can to catch those responsible.
“Criminal damage is a crime and can result in a criminal record. “I appeal to who has any information to come forward as they may have information to help the investigation.”
