THE world’s first dedicated town iphone app, ithame, officially went live today and is now available to be downloaded FREE. Comments so far have been generally very positive and the developers, Simon Ralphs and Andy McDonald, say they are delighted with the result.

Andy said today: “The founding businesses and others involved have helped raise the profile of Thame to a completely new level.

“Content wise, we will be adding content and tidying up the app over the next few days to further improve it even more.”

ithame provides access a vast source of information about the town of Thame, including its history, places to stay, events, places to visit and loads more, from the iphone, on the move.

At present ithame is available, free of charge, to consumers with iPhones by downloading the application from their iphone or from the Apple itunes store and searching for ithame. Other mobile devices will be supported shortly but if you have an itunes account you can view ithame from your PC.
