25/05/10…Local TV company in partnership with Thame football
LONG CRENDON based internet TV company, RisingStars.TV have joined forces with the Thame Football Partnership this week, to film the progress of the build of Thame’s new football stadium and community facilites, Meadow View Park.
The new facility will be home to Thame United Football Club, Thame Youth and Thame Boys and Girls Football and RisingStars.TV will be filming and covering the build of the new facilities through to the launch this autumn and beyond.
The Chief Executive of RisingStars.TV and former World No.3 Squash Player and Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, Sue Wright, said: “we are delighted to be involved with this project. It is a great community scheme that will have a major impact on Thame and its surrounding areas and ultimately become a real hub for local activity. This kind of community scheme fits extremely well with what RisingStars.TV is all about, and we look forward to giving it as much coverage as possible.”
TFP?s Frank Thompson commented: “We are currently in the process of creating something really special for the community and it?s been achieved through the hard work of a dedicated team of volunteers to have got us to the stage we are now at now. Without doubt the facility will provide a first class environment that will enable the Football Partnership to be able to deliver its goal of providing football and sport for all.
“Through RisingStarsTV and the facility that will soon be in place, we hope that youngsters of all abilities can start to achieve through sport an opportunity to participate and improve their skill levels, whether at grass roots or elite level.”
