TEMPORARY OPENING HOURS AT THAME MUSEUM – Due to necessary building works during January, February and March, the museum will only be open to visitors at the weekends when the builders have gone home. Temporary opening hours are Saturday 10am-4pm; Sunday 12 noon-4pm. Entrance free.
Alterations and maintenance are being made to the main gallery, however the Community, Reading, and Wall Paintings rooms are still well worth a visit especially when you know what is happening:-
TOUCHING TIME AT THAME MUSEUM
What can you remember of the 1950s? As well as a temporary display, there is an opportunity to see and hold some of our precious items from that decade. Come and ?touch time? at the museum and either learn for the first time or rediscover fond memories of childhood and growing up in the post-war years. Other ?touching? opportunities will happen throughout the next three months.
