Thame robbery

AT around 11pm on Saturday (6/6) two men were approached by a group of people asking if they wanted to purchase drugs in Elms Park, Thame. When the two men declined one of them was grabbed and hit by a member of the group and another member of the group threatened the two men with a knife demanding they hand over their possessions.

The two men did not hand anything over and the group of people dispersed.

The victim who was hit sustained bruising to his chin and neck and a cut tongue. He did not require hospital treatment.

The first offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, in his late teens and slim. He had fair skin, blonde eyelashes and spoke with a raspy voice. He was wearing a black hooded top pulled tight around his head and dark grey jogging bottoms.

The second offender is described as a white man, around 6ftt tall and in his early twenties. He was wearing dark clothing.

The third offender is described as a white man. He was wearing a grey jacket with a black hood underneath. He is believed to have been carrying the knife.

Designated investigator Rebekah Kent, based at Abingdon police station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victims, who thankfully did not require hospital treatment.

“I am appealing to anyone who recognises the descriptions above, or any witnesses to the incident itself.
