21/11/11……Talented Thame impresses the judges

ONCE again the judges of this year’s Thame’s Got Talent event struggled to chose the winners from the twenty talented contestants of all ages, including a poet, a Nationally ranked gymnast, two rock bands and a street dancer.

But after much heart searching, the winner was…… ex Lord Williams’s pupil, now a student at Aylesbury College, 17 year-old Street dancer, Sam Hemmings as ‘Boogaloo.’

Guest judge, Scott Cole, brother of ‘Strictly’s Brendan, himself (Scott)an ex New Zealand National dance champion and a choreographer, was particularly impressed with Sam’s own choreography and all the judges were struck by his confidence, showmanship and pure talent.

Sam’s prize was
