22/11/11….Golden anniversary choral concert

MEMBERS and ex members of the longest surviving Choral Society in Thame is celebrating its half century on Saturday, with probably the best loved choral work of all.

To mark this wonderful milestone Thame Choral Society will be performing Handel?s Messiah, on Saturday 26h November at St Mary?s Church in Thame.

As well as an orchestra, the choir is being joined by TCC2, the new children?s choir for Thame, making it a really special occasion.

The Messiah tells the story of the life of Jesus and is traditionally sung at Christmas so the concert will be a very festive affair. Seasonal refreshments will be available in the interval.
