Police appeal after man dies in Thame road collision

THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Thame on Saturday (22/3), in which an Aylesbury man died.

Police were called to A329 Rycote Lane at 11.35am following a report that a grey Renault Laguna estate had come off the road.

The driver of the car, a 69-year-old man from Aylesbury, died at the scene. No one else was injured in the incident and no other vehicles were involved.

The vehicle had been driving north along Moreton Road away from Moreton Village towards A329 Rycote Lane, when the vehicle mounted the nearside verge, just before the junction.

The vehicle continued across the junction before coming to a rest against the perimeter fences of ASM scrap yard.
