Limited places left for Thame 10K 2013
THAME’S largest mass participation sporting event, the Thame CPM 10km Road Race, will this year take place on Sunday, June 30, 2013.
The organisers are emphasising that there will be NO ENTRIES ON RACE DAY and that the race will be limited to 1000 entries to maintain a safe and enjoyable day for everyone. They expect entries to fill up fast so are encouraging people to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
This popular event has been run since 1985 and has grown to be one of the key sporting fixtures in Thame with 1000 runners pounding a course through the town centre to Towersey and back along the Phoenix Trail. Thame Runners organise the race and allocate any surplus funds to local charities. Last year approximately £2,000 was given to local Thame charities.
This year?s CPM Thame 10km road race will take place on Sunday, June 30, starting at 9.30 am from Thame Leisure Centre.
