Boris, who has a home just outside Thame, told ThameNews.Net: “I think Thame is a wonderful little town. I love ambling around the shops in what is a beautiful, historic market town, where all the shops are close together, there’s free parking and the I can find vertually anything I need here.
“I personally use both Waitrose and the Co-op as well as the marvellous independant food retailers like Local Tastes and Umbertos. I’ve bought toys, clothes and, soft furnishings and gifts in Thame, served by friendly, helpful staff.
“You’ve also got some great pubs, restaurants and cafes.
“Shopping in Thame is always an enjoyable experience and I think that what the town has to be proud of deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.”

The ‘Try Thame First’ campaign has another two weeks to run and incorporates a competition whereby a lucky shopper who fills in an application form obtained from any of the participating shops displaying the Mix 96 sign, can win
