Chinnor RFC’s Community & Youth Development Officer, Junior Fatialofa, brought a team of six coaches to give the Thomley’s disabled visitors and their friends some real physical activity. The young people were put through a wide variety of rugby activities with the main purpose of having fun and enjoying physical activity.

Everyone who took part enjoyed running through assault courses and kicking a rugby ball through the specially erected mini rugby posts, but especially enjoyed the game of touch rugby played together with the Chinnor coaching staff at the end.

Junior Fatialofa (aka Fats) was full of thanks for being invited by Thomley to help their disabled visitors enjoy a new physical activity. “We had great fun running a really rewarding rugby workshop and hope that everyone had as much fun as we did,” he said. He added, “We had so much fun that we will be coming back regularly.”

Thomley, at Menmarsh Road, Worminghall, brings disabled people, their families, carers and friends together with experienced and nurturing staff that understand their needs. Thomley’s Patron is the BBC radio personality, Ken Bruce.
