THE installation of defibrillators in public places, that can be accessed by anyone in an emergency, is growing and growing and the Mayor of Thame, Nichola Dixon, unveiled an appliance at Haddenham and Thame Park Station on Saturday (19/09), in conjunction with Cllr Margaret Aston, the Chairman of Haddenham Parish Council.
Funding for the defibrillator was provided by Thame and District Lions Club and other local organisations, and Tony Warris, one of the lead campaigners of Heartbeat Haddenham, thanked them for their support and for recognising the importance of the station to the people of Thame, as well as for passengers from Haddenham and the surrounding area.
