Man In Court Following Murder Of Thame Man
A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of Thame photographer, Richard Flippance and a woman friend of his.
The two bodies were found after a fire at her home in Northamptonshire, in April.
Alex Marshall, 36, of Irchester Road, Rushden, the estranged husband of Mrs Marshall, appeared at Northampton Crown Court charged with their murder.
The case on Friday was adjourned for a further hearing and Mr Marshall was remanded in custody.
The body of Mr Flippance, from Thame in Oxfordshire, was found in the bungalow as firefighters tackled a blaze at the house.
Mrs Marshall, sister of the millionaire Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross, was found dead on the floor of what had been a bedroom, some hours after the fire started.
Dental records were used to identify the mother of one.
Post-mortem tests revealed both victims died from stab wounds.
