Hot Weather Means Slower Trains

DELAYS to Chiltern Railways today.
Owing to the hot weather, trains will be running slower today because speed restrictions have been imposed. Network Rail has announced that due to the high temperatures today, a ‘blanket’ speed restriction affects the Chiltern line to ensure trains run safely.
Some trains will take up to 40 minutes longer than usual and some services may be cancelled.
