FOLLOWING a hugely successful Thame carnival in 2016, the organisers, 21st Century Thame, are planing to make this year’s event even better! Raising money for charities such as The Fire Fighters Charity and Sobell House Hospice, the carnival will be taking place on Saturday, June 10, 2017, and will have a 1940’s theme.
The 21st Century team is looking for creative and enthusiastic people to join the organising committee, with a flair for design or a talent for project management and administration.
Sue Martin Downhill, Carnival Co-ordinator, said: “We are specifically looking to fill the roles of Designer, Marketer and Administrator, but all volunteers and supporters are more than welcome, so if you are interested please get in touch with us at https://en-gb.facebook.com/thamecarnival/ or click the link for more information.
“The first meeting of the organising committee is taking place on Friday, January 19, at 7.30pm at Racquets Fitness Centre; please feel free to join us there if you would like to know more.”
