Golf Tournement Will Not Be Coming To Thame
THE Oxfordshire Golf Club, near Thame, has lost its bid to host the 2011, Solheim Cup.
The competition is known as the ‘Women’s Ryder Cup’, and the club’s failure to get it has come as a blow to the Oxfordshire, which felt it had a very strong case, after being awarded the new, Ladies’ European Masters from 2007.
The successful club was Killeen Castle, Failte in Ireland.
