Pharmacy assistant in hospital after car collides with shop
A YOUNG dispensary assistant was taken to hospital this morning after a car demolished the wall of a chemist shop, showering her in medicines and debris as she stood behind the counter.
A silver Peugeot 206, driven by an elderly lady, collided with the side wall of Vicary’s, the chemist shop in Stanbridge Road, Haddenham, at around 11.10am today, causing extensive damage to the building.
The shop was closed for sometime because the car was on fire and the building considered unsafe for the public to enter.
The damaged wall is currently being shored up by workmen but Mr Patel, the Pharmasist and Manager of the shop, told ThameNews.Net: “We would like to re-assure out customers that we are now open for business and working as best we can in a very confined space.”
