Re-cycle mobile phones, used batteries etc at Christmas Green Fayre
A service being offered at the Thame Green Fayre this year, is the collection of some more unusual items for recycling, as follows: unwanted stamps, coins, reading glasses, mobile phones, foil, used batteries, CDs and empty printer cartridges. So start collecting and bring along on the day!
FREE MULLED WINE AND MINCE PIE, AND FREE LUCKY DIP PRIZE FOR ALL CHILDREN – coming to the popular Green Fayre on Saturday, November 22, 10am ? 4pm at the Town Hall in Thame.
Browse around Local and Fair Trade stalls selling a variety of gifts, crafts, cards, jewellery and produce, for more environmentally friendly Christmas shopping.
If you have any toys to sell before Christmas, or are looking for second hand toys, why not make use of the TOY EXCHANGE at the Green Fayre. All you have to do, if you are selling, is to bring clean items in good condition along to the Town Hall between 9am and 10 am on the day, and collect unsold items at 4pm. Friends of the Earth will keep 25% of the selling price for all items sold. All toys must be clearly labeled with your name, telephone number and the asking price.
Children and adults can have a go at making their own Christmas gifts, including Christmas gardens, cards and table top arrangements, all using recycled materials.
Refreshments including a variety of rolls, teas, coffees and homemade cakes will be served throughout the day.
