Local man honoured by the Queen
A CHINNOR man, who has manged the popular village centre in Chinnor since it opened 15 years ago, has been recognised in the Queen’s new years honours list.
David De Val, 65, has been awarded the MBE for services to the community.
As well as providing a youth centre and coffee shop, the Chinnor Village Centre acts as a day centre for the elderly and a therapy centre.
