Thame primary schools re-open despite continued cold weather 08/01/09
ALL three primary schools in Thame, John Hampden, Barley Hill and St Joseph’s have re-opened today, though not all teachers and staff are able to travel in today.
Lord Williams’s school, both Lower and Upper, remains closed however. A statement on the school’s website reads:
“Despite great efforts by the Premises Team to clear the school sites throughout the day, bus companies are not able to make school runs in the morning and conditions on many minor roads remain hazardous. Because of this the school will regrettably be closed again on Friday 8th January.
