Help Thame become a Transition Town

Dear Editor, I have recently become involved with a group of people who are trying to set up a Transition Town iniative here in Thame. The idea behind Transition is that our society is facing two big challenges: the peak in the production of oil and climate change.

The transition movement tries to build links in communities in order to face these challenges positively and to build a better future. Look at this website if you would like to know more:

On the 27th February at 2pm, we will be holding an open meeting at Thame Town Hall to talk to local people about transition and to get their ideas for taking this work forward. It would be great if you were able to join us and Iook out for the posters advertising the event around Thame.
