DUE to the short timescales involved, South Oxfordshire District Council have stated that they are not able to guarantee when people will receive a postal voting pack, or that it will reach them in time when you post it back. So, if you are going to be away after 6 December you may wish to apply for a proxy vote instead to ensure your vote can be counted.
To find out how to apply for a proxy vote visit: southoxon.gov.uk/votebyproxy
The deadline for proxy vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday 4 December.
SO local districts as poor as the government then!!!! Is it a wonder there is not enough money for basic services when our systems are so inefficient?!
