Meet children’s author at opening of new library 02/08/10

THAME’S long awaited new library in North Street, with a host of innovative features, is set to open at 10.30am, on August 2, 2010.

Children can delve into the world of illustrating during a special event to mark the opening of the new library. Well-known author and illustrator, Shoo Rayner, will be on hand at the new library from 2pm to show youngsters how to draw many of the characters he is famous for, including Ricky Rocket and Vic the Viking.
