Dear Editor, I’ve said it before but congratulations on the way you fulfil the duty and the pleasure of local journalism:, i.e. keeping people informed.

Your report yesterday on the meeting about the future of Thame hospital is a splendid example of that and, as an old hack myself, may I say that you’ve got a very good note!
