THAME’S fledgling on-line video channel, ThameTV, has chosen this year?s Thame Food Festival as the first event to be filmed for this new enterprise, launching on the October 18, 2010.

After being shortlisted from dozens of other Oxfordshire based events happening in September, Thame TV decided that the Thame Food Festival?s wide variety of events for all ages, and fantastic support from local businesses and stall holders, is an event which should not be missed!

Thame TV was created by Emma Lowndes, MD of local film production company, Scissor Paper Stone Ltd. She wanted to create a truly community focused online channel, celebrating our people, businesses, events and history in the form of high quality, enjoyable and informative programming.

The website, www.thametv will feature one new programme every four weeks, focusing on a variety of subjects from local history and documentaries, to school and community programmes, as well as highlights from high profile local events such as the Thame Food Festival.

Any profits Thame TV receive will go back into the project to fund additional research and allow the company to provide free film production to encourage tourism and support local charities and organisations.

The food festival video will give a real flavour of the day with coverage of the local food market, exciting street entertainment, innovative workshops, theatre and events. Interviews with the organisers will aim to provide an insight into what it takes to organise such an event, and why they are so passionate about what they do. Thame TV will also speak to the stall holders about their products, and of course
get the visitors? point of view about the event! The interviews will be used to provide an engaging
narrative to the video, which will feature on www.thametv.com from it?s launch in October.

Copies of the video can be ordered on request by contacting info@thametv.com, or going to
www.thametv from the 18th October 2010 and clicking on ?Request a copy?
