THE controversial document that will determine where 530 new homes will be built in Thame in the next 16 years, has been approved by South Oxfordshire District Council’s Cabinet.

Representations were made by Mr Ray Powell and Mr Roger Cooper from Thame, who both spoke against the choice of Site F, Mr Smallman, who spoke on behalf of the landowner of site B, east of Thame, Helena Fickling of Moreton, who supported moving Lord Williams’s lower school up to site F, David Hignall, Land Agent for the owner of site F, and two speakers representing Banner Homes, in support of site D.

Councillors voted according to the recommendations of their Scrutiny committee to recommend the Core Strategy to full council, tomorrow, November 18, including the inclusion of site F, for Thame.
