RELEASED today, the latest crime update for Thame, from the local Neighbourhood Policing team: Regarding Anti-social behaviour (ASB), during December, we had one alcohol seizure in Thame and no Section 59 warnings have been issued by Thame PCSOs. However, three warnings have been given to teenage boys who have come to our attention driving anti-socially. Should we receive further reports, Section 59 warnings will be served. (Ed. Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 states that any person driving a vehicle on or off a road in a manner that causes nuisance or inconvinience to other road users or members of public will recieved a warning that lasts for 12 months. If at any point within that 12 month period you are caught driving in a similar manner then your car can be seized by the police and you’ll have to pay a penalty to get it back.
