Would you know what to do in an emergency?
ROTARY Club of Thame and District’s guest speaker this month, Wednesday, November 20, will be Carol Mackay, the Oxfordshire County Emergency Planning Officer. The meeting is on Wednesday, November 18.
The event will begin at 7:30 pm, online via Zoom, and will cover the following topics:
- Response to Emergencies in Oxfordshire and how you can be better prepared
- An overview of planning and preparation for emergencies in the county, advice on how to be more resilient, where to get more information and a look at recent emergencies in the county
- Do you know what to do if the power goes off?
- Do you know what your flood risk is?
- Do you live near a specific risk site?

During the time of the pandemic, Rotary members have been meeting safely online and have welcomed five new members since March 2020, and the club is always ready to welcome new volunteer members.
