03/04/2012.. Thame festival to showcase local electronic artists
AS the range of acts for Thame’s second, Music In The Park continues to expand, the festival in May will this year feature local electronic artists to be showcased in a brand new structure for 2012, ‘The Bubble.’
About The Bubble
The Bubble will bring grooves, breaks, beats and electronica to Elms Park on May 13, 2012. Taking place inside a big orange dome, The Bubble, curated by new Thame based music management and promotions agency, Fastest Dog, will be showcasing electronic artists local to Thame.
Artist genres performing will range from hip-hop, breaks and funk through to trance and electronica, with a dash of up-beat electro-pop from Thame?s very own superhero, The Cuboyd.
The stage will be hosted by human beat box Simon Olivier, aka The Pieman, who recently reached the final eight in the UK Beatbox Championships.
