06/02/13……Police appeal following thefts from vehicles
THAMES Valley Police is appealing for information following thefts from vehicles in South Oxfordshire, including the Thame area.
Between 30 January and 5 February, the following thefts were reported:
Chinnor
Estover Way, between 9am (4/2) & 9am (5/2) ? Tools stolen
Sydenham
Thame Road, between 7pm and 10pm (1/2) ? Power tools stolen
Thame
Oxford Road (A4129), between (1/2 & 2/2) ? Tools stolen
Watlington
(B4009) Lewknor, between 5.50am & 5.45pm (30/1) ? Tools stolen
Benson
Old London Road, (5/2) – Ipad stolen
Didcot
Park Road, (31/1) ? Sat Nav stolen
Orchard Centre, (30/1) ? Power & garden tools stolen
Some of these vehicles were left insecure with valuable items on display. Anyone living or working in the area are advised to make sure their vehicles are left secure when not in use or when left unattended and to remove valuable items and leave nothing on display.
Please be extra vigilant. If you see any suspicious looking people or vehicles in the area please call the police as soon as possible on 101. Try to obtain vehicle details including colour, make, model and registration number and a description of any suspicious persons if possible.
