THERE are just days left for local people to have their say on new ward boundaries across South Oxfordshire.

A public consultation on boundary recommendations put forward by the independent Local government Boundary Commission for England closes on January 7, 2013.

Max Caller, Chair of the Commission, said: ?This is your last chance to have your say before we finalise our recommendations for new ward boundaries across the district.

?We are asking local people to log on to our website and tell us whether they agree with the recommendations or not. If you don?t agree with what we have put forward, let us know your alternative proposals.?

Residents can view the proposals and have their say directly at https://consultation.lgbce.org.uk/

Further information about the review is available at http://www.lgbce.org.uk

The Commission?s draft recommendations propose that South Oxfordshire District Council should have 36 councillors in future, twelve fewer than the current arrangements. The proposals mean changes to ward boundaries across the district.
