THIS term, Thame Youth Theatre (TYT) returns with five great shows performed by the best of the young community?s talent at the Phoenix Arts Studio at Lord Williams? Lower School in Thame, on Monday, December 3 and Friday, December 7.

Tom Mackriell, Youth Arts Development Manager for TYT said: ?We have been rehearsing very hard over the last three months to create five very different pieces of theatre that we hope show the diversity of our membership.?

The Juniors will be performing an adaptation of the Robin Hood Legend called ‘Hoodwinked’. The ‘Inter?s’ group will be performing the Dick King Smith Classic, ‘Babe The Sheep Pig’ adapted by David Wood and the ‘Middies’ presentation will be an adaptation of ‘Haunted’ by Glyn Kerslake.

Tthe stage adaptation of Craig Higginson?s ‘Little Foot’ will be performed by the Senior group. The focus of the piece is a group of teenagers exploring a South African Cave network and discovering the forces around them. Finally, the Dance Groups will be performing choreography based upon the tracks of some of our best loved Musical Legends.

Hoodwinked and Babe The Sheep Pig will be played at 5.30pm on Monday, December 3, followed by Haunted at 8pm. Little Foot and The Dance Show will be played at 6.30pm on Friday, December 7.

Tom Mackriell added: ?It has been a hard task to rehearse all the performances, but I am sure our members will create some fantastic pieces of theatre.?
