25/07/12…Any bell, all the bells, will ring in Thame to launch the Olympics
ST MARY’S Church in Thame will be ringing its bells ‘fast and furious’ on Friday morning, at precisely 8.12am, as part of the ‘All The Bells’ project to launch the Olympics.
At 08:12 on 27th July 2012, thousands of people across the UK will be joining together to ring in the first day of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Everyone across the country is invited to take part by ringing any sort of bell they can lay their hands on, be it bicycle bell, door bell or church bells.
