Do you see yourself helping the elderly community of Thame? Then Thame Senior Friendship Centre and the new Dementia Café ”Memories” need you to help encourage and support our members post Covid-19.

The Trustees are seeking to recruit a new Deputy Manager with the right values and behaviours to take our services forward in the coming years.

They will support the Manager in the day-to-day running of TSFC on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and each week and be responsible for our new Dementia Café at Thame Barns Centre on a Monday morning.

Core working hours for TSFC are from 8.30am – 3.30 pm and 9am – 2pm for Dementia Café. (Training will be provided). Pay is £11/hour.

The Centre having been in existence since 1986, is now based at the new Cricket Pavilion, and the service has undergone some significant changes since March 2019 and if you wish to be part of our changes then we would like to hear from you.

We are keen to recruit someone who can help us ensure our workplace values are at the heart of everything we do.

We aim to provide a caring, sociable and flexible environment for our members ensuring that we are inclusive, caring and provide support to families/carers.

Closing date for applications:  19th November 2021

Interviews: Week commencing 22nd November 2021

Please contact: Kate White, TSFC Manager on 01844 212080 or email kate@thameseniorfriendshipcentre.com if you are interested.
