Join our team of Care Assistants supporting vulnerable people at home around Thame, Haddenham and Aylesbury and surrounding towns and villages.

MUST be a car owner with a full driving licence

A  new, locally managed, and supportive team,  we help people in our community live independently at home with choice and dignity.

Our Care Assistants work at Right at Home because:

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest possible care provision is maintained at all times
  • Personal Care to allow clients to maintain personal hygiene, appearance and comfort
  • Preparation of meals, drinks, and snacks to enable good nutrition and hydration
  • Assist in taking medication
  • Participate in team meetings, training and staff events
  • Collaborate as part of a team with wider healthcare professionals
  • Accurate and timely record-keeping
  • Offer social support, talking and listening to the client, helping them to maintain contact with the wider community
  • Safe moving and handling of clients using equipment where required
  • Use own initiative to make decisions and acquire knowledge and good practice

      About the person

      Full induction training will be provided, so no experience of care is necessary.

      Good verbal and written communication skills.

      Good organisational skills and time management skills.

      Salary and working hours

      Competitive rates of pay (from £10/hr – £11/hr)  and could be full or part-time.
