Introducing Sustainability Spark!

A new weekly coffee morning in Thame for local businesses who have started their CSR journey or are interested in starting it, to introduce them to local grassroots environmental groups, schools and volunteer organisations.

Why have we created this event?

We’ve noticed that many Thame based businesses have CSR objectives but don’t have the local connections to find suitable projects to invest in. Conversely, many local action groups and environmentally passionate individuals have project ideas that they are keen to kick off, but they don’t have the requisite funding.

Our intention with this coffee morning is to help resolve this road block for both groups and to make it easier to run successful sustainability projects in Thame. We want to create the * Spark * that will kick start local sustainability initiatives!

Who is this event for?

This event is for you if you’re a Thame-based business person who wants to make a difference in the local environment in collaboration with the community, whether you’re brand new to sustainability or have defined CSR goals.

Event Logistics

It’s on every Tuesday from 9am to 10am at Racquets Fitness Centre, Thame – behind the Cattle Market.

The event is free of charge and there will be coffee/tea available to purchase. To book your tickets, go to this link : https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sustainability-spark-weekly-coffee-morning-thame-tickets-546218814177

About us

Our networking project has funding from South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC). We are aiming at creating an environment in Thame where collaboration is standard and it is easier than ever for anyone whether individual, organisation or business to get involved in the local green projects that already exist and to start new ones.
