Cricket open-day for the whole family

A chance for all children to have a taste of cricket, free of charge ! Just bring along your sons and daughters (between the ages of 6 and 16) to the cricket club (next to the Barns Centre for those who don’t know it !) and they can have a go. It really doesn’t matter if they are beginners or seasoned players – the club’s ECB-qualified coaches will be there to cater for all levels.
For the parents, there will be a cash bar open in the clubhouse and delicious food cooking on the barbecue, courtesy of our supporter for the day, Waitrose, not to mention a six-a-side cricket tournament going on between 11.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. on the main pitch, a raffle with top notch prizes, bouncy castle, Waitrose stand and much more…..everyone will be most welcome.
